A day with happiness

A community service trip to the Dahikmah orphanage was organised on 30th July 2011. 50 little angels were placed at the orphanage ranging from the age of 5 to 15 years of age. Most of the orphans are boys, only four girls are there. 80 DiSK (Diploma in Computer Science) students participated to help raise the spirits if the Dahikmah residents before Ramadhan comes.

Upon arriving in Kampung Itik, Gopeng, we were captivated by the fresh kampung air and the mindblowing view of hills and vast grasslands. we are to walk around 3km in order to arrive at the orphanage (it is situated inside the kampung area). We have to actually go jungle trekking to reach the house! It was aweome I might say!

The angels were entertained with games and other activities while half of the DiSK members help clean up the housing area (that includes me). Food are given after the prize-giving ceremony or, so called the cenderamatahati giving ceremony. The DiSK people are to leave after the Zuhur prayer. 

I had fun going there. To bring joy and laughter to the angels of Dahikmah is a privilege. All prayer is given to them so that they have high hopes in living, achieve their dream, and to have a blessed life. 

Sangat susah..

Penang Bridge

milestone that brings Penang closer to 

the world attention.

The dual-carriageway bridge 

connecting Gelugor on the island of 

Penang and Seberang Prai on the 

mainland of Malaysia has become a 

symbol of pride and national landmarks.

*p.s. I've been there a thousand times. I STRONGLY recommend going there and enjoy the sea-view yourself.

I've been packing. And that's great right? Considering the fact that I hardly do anything at home. So, packing some stuff to head back to Perak. Nice kan? Urrgh.. I'm just feeling heartless right now. Don't ask why. But, the world's turning and we have to move on. Or else, we're just clumps of meat on the surface of some sphere. Decaying every second the clock ticks. (too much said? yeah, I thought so..)

An evening with the whole family

So, mama thought of a family gathering (kite-kite jee), and it came out to be today! :D I really like family gatherings. Especially when it involves kite-kite jee (mama's adik-beradik). What I mostly don't like about gatherings are the tiring before and afters. This includes:


Cleaning the house:
*Before
- moping the living room floor
- cleaning the living room
- wiping all the tables in the house
- rearranging the furniture (to provide space for the food and diners)
- moping the living room floor, again


*After
- moping the floor
- cleaning the living room

- wiping all the tables in the house

- rearranging the furniture (to it's original placement)

- moping the living room floor, again

Cooking:

- main dish

- entre'

- desert

- drinks

and all are categorized to children and adult menu.

It is tiring mann! Walaupun many of the stuff listed above mama yang buat. *evil laugh*. But, all cons come with its pros. The pros are; you will be guaranteed to have a splendid time with your family. You can eratkan the silaturrahim with every family member. And, you will feel this satisfied feeling that runs in your blood. Nonetheless, gatherings are a great way to spend those masa yang terluang and tak tau nak buat apa.

Oh! And after today's gathering, I tersleep on the couch and tak sedar for 5 hours. Bangun bangun je, the house is already cleaned. Yes, mama yang kemas. You are great mama!

Yes, that is in fact a fish patty in a bed of French fries. Only savaged to "over-perfection", if you know what i mean, by of course, moi. I confess, I'm not a great cook (nak goreng burger pun FAIL!!). And considering the fact that I am now living in an environment where there it is cooking-free.. you might expect the over-cooked patty. But the fries looked awesome though! Ngeeheee~

30 Things Guys Should Know About Girls

1. whatever you do, don’t just show up at their house…they run around in their underwear just like we do.

2. don’t cheat on them. it may seem foolproof, but girls tell each other everything about everything. trust me, they will find out and you will be mud.

3. beware of every single male relative and all guy friends. any of them would kick your ass at the drop of a hat, and a lot of them wouldn’t even wait for the damn hat.

4. never miss an opportunity to tell them they’re beautiful.

5. don’t refuse to kiss in front of your friends. if they laugh at you, it’s because they’re jealous.

6. if they slap you hard, you deserved it.

7. don’t be afraid to touch them if you want to. if they’re going out with you in the first place, it’s because they like being in your arms.

8. if you don’t sleep with them, do not tell your friends that you did. 

9. you can be dirty minded in private, really…most of them are not offended by it…

10. not all of them eat like birds, a lot of them can eat like whales.

30. after you’ve been dating for a while, realize that they really have started to trust you. when you have a girlfriend who truly trusts you, you have a lot more responsibility, privilege and control than you would think. be careful with it, most guys would kill for that kind of power, and it can be lost in a nanosecond.

Ever wonder why marshmallows are put inside hot chocolates? I wonder why too. It just so happen that marshmallows + hot chocolates exists even before I was born.. (yeah) Making the fun-loving, good-to-eat, heavenly-delicious drink ain't that hard people!! The first few months toghether with the whole lot of CS2E was a great one. It was not more then laughing all day, talking all the time, coming late to class and leaving the class early. ;) But spending time with them would literally loosen the tight strings tying your already serabut head. Kemalangan yang mengjutkan :O

Pagi itu pagi minggu. Cuaca cukup sejuk sehingga mencapai takat suhu beku. Sebab itu saya tidak mandi pagi sebab air kolah jadi air batu dan air paip tidak mahu keluar sebab beku di dalam batang paip. Pagi itu saya bersarapan dengan keluarga di dalam unggun api kerana tidak tahan sejuk. Selepas itu emak saya mengajak saya menemaninya ke pasar. Tetapi saya tidak mahu.
Selepas emak menikam perut saya berkali-kali dengan garfu barulah saya bersetuju untuk mengikutnya. Kami berjalan sejauh 120 kilometer kerana pasar itu letaknya 128 kilometer dari rumah. Lagi 8 kilometer nak sampai pasar saya ternampak sebuah lori kontena meluru dengan laju dari arah belakang.
Dia melanggar emak saya. Emak saya tercampak ke dalam gaung. Dia menjerit "Adoi!". Lepas itu emak saya naik semula dan mengejar lori tersebut. Saya pun turut berlari di belakang emak saya kerana takut emak saya melanggar lori itu pula. Pemandu lori itu nampak kami mengejarnya. Dia pun memecut lebih laju iaitu sama dengan kelajuan cahaya. Kami pula terpaksa mengejar dengan lebih laju iaitu sama dengan dua kali ganda kelajuan cahaya. Emak saya dapat menerajang tayar depan lori itu. Lori itu terbabas dan melanggar pembahagi jalan lalu bertembung dengan sebuah feri. Feri itu terbelah dua.
Penumpang feri itu yang seramai 100 orang semuanya mati. Pemandu feri itu sangat marah. Dia pun bertukar menjadi Ultraman dan memfire pemandu lori. Pemandu lori menekan butang khas di dalam lori dia..lori itu bertukar menjadi robot Transformer. Mereka bergaduh di udara. Emak saya tidak puas hati. Dia pun terus menyewa sebuah helikopter di GentingHighlands dan terus ke tempat kemalangan. Dia melanggar pemandu feri yang telah bertukar menjadi Ultraman itu.
Pemandu feri itu terkejut dan terus bertukar menjadi pemandu feri semula lalu terhempas ke jalanraya. Pemandu feri itu pecah. Pemandu lori sangat takut melihat kejadian itu. Dia meminta maaf dari emak saya. Dia menghulurkan tangan ingin bersalam. Tetapi emak saya masih marah. Dia menyendengkan helikopternya dan mengerat tangan pemandu lori itu dengan kipas helikopter. Pemandu lori itu menjerit "Adoi..!" dan jatuh ke bumi. Emak say menghantar helikopter itu ke Genting Highlands. Bila dia balik ke tempat kejadian, dia terus memukul pemandu lori itu dengan beg tangannya sambil memarahi pemandu lori itu di dalam bahasa Inggeris.
Pemandu lori itu tidak dapat menjawab sebab emak saya cakap orang putih. Lalu pemandu lori itu mati. Tidak lama kemudian kereta polis pun sampai. Dia membuat lapuran ke ibu pejabatnya tentang kemalangan ngeri itu. Semua anggota polis di pejabat polis itu terperanjat lalu mati. Orang ramai mengerumuni tempat kejadian kerana ingin mengetahui apa yang telah terjadi. Polis yang bertugas cuba menyuraikan orang ramai lalu dia menjerit menggunakan pembesar suara. Orang ramai terperanjat dan semuanya mati.
Selepas itu emak saya mengajak saya ke pasar untuk mengelak lebih ramai lagi yang akan mati. Di pasar, emak saya menceritakan kejadian itu kepada penjual daging. Penjual daging dan peniaga-peniaga berhampiran yang mendengar cerita itu semuanya terkejut dan mati. Saya dan emak saya terus berlari balik ke rumah. Kerana terlalu penat sebaik saja sampai di rumah kami pun mati. Itulah kemalangan yang paling ngeri yang pernah saya lihat sebelum saya mati.

Location : Port Dickson

Feel the soft, white sand tickling your toes, the ocean wind blowing through your hair, and the warm sea water washing your feet.. Thats what I felt in Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan.. :D Did basically nothing there. Just to spend some time family bonding. (and to fill up my camera's memory of course!) Its the seratus satu, 101, time I've been there. And yes it has now grew over me. Dah amma and appa nak pergi. Ikut jela.. But, nothing with family ain't fun. Because.. You dont have to keluarkan duit sendiri, you dont have to penat-penat drive on your own, paling penting, tidak usah bawak barang banyak-banyak. Just humbankan barang dalam beg adik yang sentiasa membawa barang yang ciput dalam beg yang gedabak. Trust me, no matter where you go to with yo family, your trip won't be a regretful one.

Paramore concert

The actual Paramore concert dates back on 19th October 2010. (mcmla lma sgt nk letak 'dates back') But, I suddenly remembered I went to it. *LOL*. I went with a few friends of mine. You know who you are. ;D The concert was awesome! the opening act was abit layme though. All and all, it was fun. It was suppose to start at 8pm but, as all things are, it finally started at 8.30pm. 30mins late je.. I sat at the top. Thats all I can afford for RM90. But a great view that was. Hayley is just that size of your thumb. -_-" You can still see her luscious red hair though. Tu yg penting tu. She sang a total of 15 songs KOT. Cant remember much. A few of them are When It Rains, Ignorence, Thats What You Get, Careful, Playing God, The Only Exception, and banyak lagi lah. Here are some of the photos for your santapan. Enjoy love!

Wonderful Shawls

As we know, pada zaman serba moden ini, fashion trends rule! Through my sceptical observation, the new in thaing for muslim teens are shawls. Or best known as selendangs. They have various designs and textures. Plus, you can simply get them anywhere any time. The cheapest i have found so far? RM7. Tapi, the texture is kinda like.. licin and tak selesa. I recommend buying the ones that are not so tebal, and not so nipis. Most importantly, suits you. Quote from one of my lecturer; ".. dont wear something yang pelik-pelik, wear something that you feel comfortable in..". Thats all. TY!! :D

Banyaknya Passwords!!!

Research shows (my research) that 80% of the people living with the power of the WWW has AT LEAST 3 personal web page. Biasanya, Myspace, Friendster, Facebook, dan lain-lain. And not all of them have the same password. Of course lah, takut orang lain hack kalau guna password yang sama for every account. Like everyone else, I myself have tons of accounts. Tons la sangat :P. Having to remember all of it is a pain in the arse. Having to retrieve the passwords are double the pain in the arse.. So, how are we to avoid retrieving those passwords?? Nothing. Just retrieve it. Bukannya susah pun. Tekan-tekan mouse pad je. But, to easify your retrieving, do it immediately. DO NOT TANGGUH THE RETRIEVING. if you do, you will straight away forget about the retrieval e-mail, lantas melupakan terus the account. Or, you could save the password using the browser. We all have our own lappys right, so use the term 'personal' computer. No one wants an abandoned web page account. Kesian kat account tu tau. :'(

So, what HAD happened throughout my first semester in university? The answer.. EVERYTHING happend. This includes me doing the craziest things that I know no sane person would do.
